The Olympics is the largest multi-sport event in the world. Are held every four years. Original games dating back to 776 BC. In 1896 the idea was taken up by the French nobleman Pierre Fredy, Baron de Coubertin, giving rise to the era of the modern Olympic Games. Athletes coming from all corners of the Earth, with the ardor and strength of youth are prepared to compete for the laurels of victory.
This collection shows a historical and is grouped into 5 icons, each of these are further divided: History, Headquarters, Symbols and Ceremonies, Olympic sports and Olympic Apostilles. Example: HEADQUARTERS. Greece 1896, highlights the stamps issued by that country on the occasion of this event. These stamps are issued commemorative second World Series. Also shown in all venues of the Olympic Games stamps issued by the host country.
