The National Commission Guide the Guide and Scout Association of Chile , has just released a book that attempts to bring together the history of Guiding in our country. This book is the result of research carried out by Fabiola González Kusjanovic.
remember it was at the World Jamboree in 2007 when I first heard that Chilean guides were working on this project, and with the collaboration of the World Association Guide (Wagg). Indeed, the website of the Wagg, reports that since 2006 had been running the project, thanks financing Guides Association USA.
Personally I think this book is the fruit of many years work, or an "investment" international resources. First of all, the work is available almost exclusively in digital format (from the Commission Guidelines state that a lack of resources could not print more than a handful of copies), and in practice, research is nothing more than the sum, well-intentioned, some old interview with Chilean guides and copy-paste certain websites.
I think that as a reference for future research, but the contribution to the history of the Movement, is scarce. I leave a
