In the photo above, the Old Bridge Shuttle Almirante Brown, in the Boca del Riachuelo, linking City of Buenos Aires with the City of Avellaneda. The bridge is not currently functional, is visited by tourists who visit the Barrio de la Boca.
In the second image, the Obelisk of Buenos Aires on October 12, 1937 at his inauguration. July 9th Avenue was not yet built.
